Triumph Boats

Notes

  • PERFECT FOR BOTH HUGGING TREES AND RUNNING INTO THEM. 100% RECYCLABLE WORLD'S TOUGHEST BOAT

  • 100% recyclable Like the VEC process, the Roplene construction process benefits the whole planet. Roplene construction uses low-density polyethylene, which has five times the impact resistance of fiberglass, is significantly less expensive overall and 100 percent recyclable. The process produces few, if any, air ...emissions, whereas open-face molding, the most common method used to build fiberglass hulls, is labor intensive and releases regulated emissions. The Roplene process begins with a specially formulated polyethylene compound powder, which is poured into a high-temperature mold. The mold is mounted in a large convection oven and rotated both vertically and horizontally. The oven's heat melts the powder, which forms the boat. The mold continues to rotate during the cooling stage to ensure an even, consistent thickness.

  • Triumph recently received the prestigious National Marine Manufactures' Association CSI award for 2007.
